The Only Way You Should Pack Baby Clothes

Baby clothes – so cute and little, yet so easy to lose! I’ll be the first to admit that our first few trips after Oliver was born were not the most organized. Especially when we visited family because I wasn’t the one dressing him or changing his clothes. As a result, I spent way to much time frantically searching for a clean onesie or shirt whenever we needed to do a quick change. Alas! This packing hack has saved my sanity. This trick to folding baby clothes saves time, saves space, and keeps everything super organized (which is perfect because I can spend more time vacationing and less time searching for baby socks at the bottom of the suitcase). Check it out!

1) Lay out the onesie facedown on a table or bed. Make sure to leave the bottom part unbuttoned.

2) Place remaining outfit pieces flat on top of the onesie and fold in the sleeves to create a straight line on the edges of the onesie.

3) Roll everything in like a sushi roll starting from the top.

4) The bottom flap should lay flat with the buttons facing down.

5) Roll the bottom flap over towards the top of the roll.

5) Reach under and pull the opposite flap towards the top in opposite direction of your roll so that both ends meet on top.

6) Button it up and secure your roll.

7) Pack them into your suitcase!
